This page says what Confbooster collects, why, and who else handles it. We do not sell or rent your data to anyone.
On your device
Your quiz answers and your result are saved in your own browser (local storage), so a reload does not lose them and a later retake can show your earlier readings. So is the email address you enter at the end, so that a retake does not ask for it again. They stay on your device unless you give us your email at the end of the quiz.
At the end of the quiz
To see your result you give us an email address. We store, with it:
- your first name, only if you choose to add it;
- your result — your main and second pattern, the pattern scores, your Confidence Index, your own guess, and your answer to the question about what you would change;
- an anonymised IP address (the last part removed) and your browser type, to spot abuse;
- where you came from, if the link you followed carried that.
We use it to show you your result, to send you a copy of it when our email service is set up, and to understand which parts of the quiz and the site work. We do not add you to a mailing list or send newsletters.
Analytics
We use PostHog, on servers in the EU, to count what happens on the site: pages viewed, which answer was picked (as a code, not as text), and buttons clicked. After you give us your email, these events are linked to it, so we can see which steps help and which lose people. Requests go through our own domain.
To tell one visit from the next, PostHog keeps a random identifier in a cookie and in your browser’s local storage. It is not used for advertising and is not shared with anyone else. You can clear it, or block it in your browser’s settings, and everything on the site still works.
If you buy
Payhip handles the payment and sends your files; we never see your card details. We record that a purchase happened and its amount against your quiz record, and keep your address on our customer list with our email provider, marked so that no marketing email reaches it. If you buy “Everything”, your address joins the list for the weekly email that comes with it, kept with our email provider, Resend; every one of those emails has a link to unsubscribe.
Referral links
Only while our referral programme is running — it is not at the moment — a cookie from Refgrow records which creator, if any, sent you, so they can be credited.
Who processes it
- Supabase — the database holding quiz records.
- Vercel — hosting.
- PostHog (EU) — analytics.
- Resend — sending email.
- Payhip — payments and file delivery.
- Refgrow — referral tracking, only when the programme is running.
How long, and your rights
We keep quiz records until you ask us to delete them. You can ask for a copy of your data, a correction, or deletion at any time: email hello@confbooster.com and we act on it within 30 days. If you are in the EU or UK, you can also complain to your data protection authority.
